2026 WSABE GOLDEN STARS GALA TAKES TO THE FIELD AT COMMBANK STADIUM
The 36th Annual Western Sydney Awards for Business Excellence (WSABE) Golden Stars Gala Dinner & Ceremony took to the field at CommBank Stadium on Friday 4 September 2026, bringing Greater Western Sydney’s business community together to recognise the region’s outstanding businesses, leaders and organisations.
Hosted by the Parramatta Chamber of Commerce, the 2026 Golden Stars Gala transformed the field at CommBank Stadium into an unrivalled setting for business excellence, bringing together Western Sydney’s business leaders, government representatives and community champions for a landmark evening of recognition and celebration.
The Gala welcomed The Hon. Prue Car MP, alongside The Hon. Stephen Kamper MP and Kellie Sloane MP, who spoke to the ambition, growth and opportunity driving Western Sydney and the vital role businesses play in shaping the region’s future.
“In 2026, we are well and truly beyond talking about our potential. Instead, the story of Western Sydney is one of success, driven so much by the people here tonight who have taken aspiration and turned it into achievement, taken promise and turned us into a powerhouse. I know it isn’t easy. It has required resilience, guts and an incredible amount of hard work and that is what we celebrate tonight.” The Hon. Prue Car MP, Deputy Premier of New South Wales, Minister for Education and Early Learning and Minister for Western Sydney
Under the stadium lights, the spotlight belonged to the 2026 WSABE winners and finalists, celebrating the businesses, people and organisations making their mark across Greater Western Sydney. We also extend our thanks to the judging panel of industry experts who dedicated their time and expertise to assessing this year’s entries.
All 2026 WSABE category winners will now progress to the Business NSW State Awards, proudly representing the Greater Western Sydney region at State level.
Among the evening’s highest honours, Hume Community Housing was named the 2026 Commonwealth Bank Business of the Year, recognised for its impact in providing safe, secure homes and building sustainable communities across Greater Western Sydney.
